Can cityscapes learn to embrace the wild? For centuries, out-of-the-way marshlands were regarded as little more than wasteland, unkempt, unsightly and rife with disease. But, as British writer Tom Blass discusses, with wetlands identified as critical to help us adapt to rising temperatures, could our cities be ready to reembrace the natural elements from which they emerged?
