‘Crypto colonizers’ in Puerto Rico try to sell locals on the dream

Who benefits from the nation's booming crypto economy? Puerto Rico has seen an influx of wealthy newcomers attracted by the generous tax breaks and Caribbean charm. Many are optimistic about the opportunities and wealth these settlers will bring, but others are deeply concerned for the poorer members of the community. Home prices are soaring, beneficiaries are failing to create jobs, and there are calls for the tax break to be repealed. But, on the other hand, crypto could be the key to new prosperity.
