Along with the aim of cashing in on the crypto craze and tapping into new markets, reporters Kejal Vyas and Santiago Pérez examine the impacts bitcoin may have on the tiny Central American country. There are hopes that it could help tackle widespread poverty and violence, but investors are concerned about supporting Bukele's regime.
