Studio Ghibli’s Toshio Suzuki on four decades of anime magic

Exploring his relationship with director Hayao Miyazaki. Suzuki co-founded Studio Ghibli with Miyazaki and Isao Takahata and has been heavily responsible for running what has become one of the most beloved creative powerhouses for the past 35 years. Talking to Leo Lewis, he reflects on the challenges the coronavirus pandemic has brought for them and Japan and why he thinks it's more important to make art than to sell it.
